EVS33 General Publishing Policies

  • EDTA will only publish the final EVS33 Conference Papers of authors who have (1) elected to have their accepted work stored and made publicly available as described in the EVS33 Terms of Publishing; (2) confirmed this choice to the EVS33 Secretariat (3) provided the EVS33 Secretariat a final PDF that adheres to formatting guidelines and (4) completed payment for open access publishing.
  • EVS33 authors will receive an email confirmation from the EVS33 Secretariat when the above stated requirements for publishing have been met.
  • Authors will receive a certificate affirming that their paper was reviewed and accepted by the EVS33 International Program Committee (IPC).
  • Final papers must adhere to EVS33 formatting guidelines and will be published by EDTA as-is. EDTA will not modify the final document file in any way prior to depositing in Zenodo or archiving on the EVS33 website, as described in the Terms of Publishing. Please note, once deposited by EDTA, Zenodo policies mandate the document file (final paper) CANNOT be altered or revised once deposited.
  • EDTA will begin processing the deposit of final EVS33 papers to Zenodo on June 8, 2020. Papers will become immediately available for public access at the time of deposit. The EVS33 paper compilation in Zenodo will be completed and all final EVS33 papers will be discoverable in Zenodo no later than September 30, 2020.
  • The metadata sets to accompany each published record will include the following bibliographic information as it appears in the final paper: Title, Summary (description), Keywords (if applicable), and Author(s). The publication date for each paper in Zenodo will be generated automatically to correspond with the date of deposit. Each record will include reference to EVS33.
  • EDTA will curate papers within a Zenodo Community labeled specifically for EVS33 and a dedicated URL will be generated for easy access to the entire collection.
  • EDTA will alert lead authors via email when their paper has been deposited in Zenodo. Authors can obtain citation details by visiting the Zenodo site.
  • Papers deposited by EDTA into the Zenodo archive will be retained for the lifetime of that repository. See Zenodo policies for more information.
  • The entire EVS33 juried-paper archive will be made public on the EVS33 website on October 1, 2020. Papers will be open access and archived in a dedicated section accessible from the primary toolbar and organized by topic. If EDTA discontinues use of the current EVS33 website URL, the papers archive will be relocated to a site managed by EDTA. A public announcement with full details will be made on EDTA’s website in the case of archive relocation.
